K-9 Unit Officer Bennett Breyer and Koda

I recently had the amazing opportunity to photograph Koda, the brand new police canine for the City of Edina, along with his handler, Officer Bennett Breyer. It was truly impressive to witness firsthand how powerful and well-trained Koda is. The bond between Koda and Officer Breyer is evident, showing the dedication and teamwork that goes into police K9 units.

During the photo session, I even got to hold Koda’s play toy to get his attention. The dog was laser-focused on me—his intensity and concentration were incredible. It was both exciting and humbling to photograph such a highly trained working dog up close.
