His journey began at Dakota County VOTEC, where he completed their photography program, and he’s been behind the lens ever since. In his very first year, Jason photographed 150 high school seniors and about 30 weddings — and that was just the beginning. Today, his portfolio includes thousands of senior portraits, hundreds of weddings, and a wide range of portrait sessions, each crafted with his signature attention to detail.

Jason has a true passion for lighting — it’s the magic that makes a photo come alive. While many call themselves “natural light photographers,” Jason jokes that often means they don’t know how to do anything else. He’s a master at using flash, LED lights, reflectors, diffusers, and any tool necessary to create perfect, vibrant eyes and striking images.
